I’ve just received notice that I have 48 hours to claim my mother’s body. This has added an overwhelming layer of urgency and pressure to an already devastating situation. I am doing everything I can, but I cannot do this alone.

My Mother Passed Away Today at 12:20 AM – I Need Help to Lay Her to Rest

My name is Lourdes, and I’m heartbroken to share that my mother passed away early this morning at 12:20 AM. She was 84 years old. Her loss feels unreal, and I’m struggling to find the strength to face the next steps.

I’m currently unemployed and have no money to pay for a funeral or cremation. I just want to give her a respectful goodbye—the kind she truly deserves.
