Today was a very rough day for my future mother-in-law, Lisa had to say goodbye to her cat Zoey very unexpectedly. Zoey today started to go blue after Lisa thought she had gotten a hairball stuck in her throat. Seeing as there are no ER vets in Green Bay, we made the 40 min drive to Appleton through a tornado warning with high winds and heavy rain.

Sadly, we were informed that Zoey's lungs were collapsing and she had bladder stones, and even if they tried to save her, it would be unlikely to work.

The end result was an almost $800 bill, of which Lisa had about $300 of care credit. We had no other funds to pay the rest of the bill, and we're informed we would need to have this figured out by Monday.

Money has already been extremely tight with rent costs going up yet again along with the cost of everything. Lisa is already paying on care credit for her teeth she needed done, so the added amount to the care credit is already going to be hard to cover, let alone trying to find a way to pay off the balance at the vet by Monday. Any and all help would be very much appreciated.
