Hello, my name is Ellie. I’m starting this go fund page for my dear friend Lisa Seneca. She was just recently notified that her daughter Amanda Shimer had passed away earlier this month. Authorities were trying to locate her

(Lisa had moved down South earlier this year) so they could positively identify Amanda.

Amanda was a lost soul, she had her demons and wasn’t in contact with her family for a long time. Getting this news isn’t the news any mother wants to hear. Lisa living down South and Amanda being found here in New York has put a very unexpected financial crisis on Lisa. Lisa is on a fixed income, she could desperately use some financial help with this already very difficult situation. As much as she doesn’t want to ask for help, she really could use it. She is asking for help with the travel expenses, the cost of the cremation and getting Amanda back to her down South. We realize that times are tough for everyone, this unexpected death and expenses are very difficult for her.

if I could please ask for any help it would be greatly appreciated, no donation is to small. Lisa is hoping to be able to plan a Celebration of life for Amanda in October on what would have been Amanda’s 40th Birthday.
