Assist Linley in Her Time of Need

Donation protected
My name is Linley and I am 33 years old. My husband and I have been married just shy of 10 years (10/10/15). In 2019, we ended up getting custody of my nephews who are now 7 and 8 years old. I worked full-time up until 2021. I had two different car wrecks between 2019-2021 that have affected my body long-term. I also deal with chronic health issues and have applied for disability, but as everyone knows, it’s a very long process, and I am still in the process of waiting to be approved. (My hearing is in June.) My husband has been the main source of income our entire marriage. In January, he was hurt on the job that he had been at for 13+ years and was “wrongfully terminated.” He had to look for a job that was related to his field and found one that was a travel job. I encouraged him to take this position because it would benefit our family, but it would also benefit his portfolio for work and give him more experience and opportunity to grow in his field. He took the job and left on February 14, 2025. I’m going to be very transparent and honest here… the day he left I was sad as any wife would be. We had only been apart maybe a week at a time in our entire marriage. He was hugging me in our bedroom the day he left (2/14) and I cried in his arms and told him I didn’t want him to abandon me. I was scared of that because of my biological father. He held me tight and he assured me, “That’s not what this is. I have to work and I’m doing this for us. We won’t be apart long. You’ll be on my next job and I’ll have you and the boys up in a couple weeks to visit.” Reassuring me I would be on his next job assignment and that everything was going to be okay. I just couldn’t go this time because the cost of travel for four people versus one wasn’t something we could afford with him just losing his job. On 3/10, he told me he wanted a divorce. Less than a month from this conversation. I was devastated and shocked and honestly at first he was open to working on things, but now he has completely removed my access to money and has removed all contact. He has informed me he “Doesn’t have to support me” per his lawyer. I mentioned earlier I do not work and that I have applied for disability and my hearing is not until next month. Even then if I’m approved, I’m not sure how long it’ll be before I have income and back pay. He has now told me he will not be sending me money for any bills or groceries at our Alabama home (apartment with a lease that was just signed in January). He will not be paying for groceries for the home. He has also removed me as an authorized user in our phone plan and has told me he’ll be turning mine off. He has told me he will be turning off all of our Alabama bills and has left me without a vehicle since he left on 2/14. At this point, I am asking for help.
