It was not a big house, but it was home.

Hello. We are Adria and Lars. We lived in Altadena until catastrophe struck with unmitigated vengeance.

In the early morning hours on January 8th, the residence of my wife and I was taken by the Eaton Fire which swept through the San Gabriel foothills in Southern California. We were able to grab a few items and the cat before evacuating but we made it out alive. Adria’s father lived two houses over from us and he lost his house as well. In fact, 33 of the 36 houses in my neighborhood were destroyed with the 3 remaining being severely damaged.

I, Lars, have always been a proud man who preferred helping others rather than seeking assistance.

Well, it is time to swallow my pride because we need your help.

We are seeking your assistance to help cover living expenses until my wife, her father and I can get back on our feet. Food, clothing and rent are our priorities at this time.
