Assist Lance Khan's family with funeral arrangements.

Dear friends,

With a heavy heart, we announce the untimely passing of Lance Khan. Lance was killed in a tragic accident in the early hours of Sunday, June 15, 2025. He was a beloved son, brother, teammate, and friend, the youngest of 4 sons of Michelle and Romail Khan.

Lance was a happy-go-lucky young man who brought joy and laughter to everyone he encountered with his infectious smile and will be missed by all who knew him. He was a fierce competitor on and off the baseball field. Over the past few years, Lance had been battling cancer and was victorious in his fight. Throughout all his treatments, he never lost faith and always greeted you with his ear-to-ear smile. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting and coaching Lance through Little League baseball at Lamar Little League. His passion for the game was evident from the early ages of his baseball journey. He carried his love for the game onto the collegiate level where he was playing for the University of St. Thomas right here in Houston. He was loved and admired by coaches and players at every level he competed at.

As the family comes to terms with the passing of Lance and deals with this unthinkable tragedy, they are forced with the difficult task of arranging for his final farewell. We want to ensure that the family gives him the dignified and heartfelt send-off that he deserves, but unfortunately, the financial burden of funeral expenses is overwhelming his family during this already challenging time.

I'm reaching out to the community for support in honoring Lance's memory. If you can find it in your heart to help this wonderful family out in this trying time, it would be greatly appreciated. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain that the family faces and will allow them to focus on grieving and remembering their son and brother Lance.

Funds raised will go towards the funeral service, burial or cremation costs, transportation, and memorial arrangements. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in ensuring that Lance is laid to rest with the dignity and respect he deserves.
