Assist LA in Reclaiming His Passion

Hello, my name is Ladaryl Norwood, Jr., but I go by “LA”. I am a T-12 paraplegic, who is currently 22 years old. In 2022, I was paralyzed from the waist down from a gunshot wound. I am asking for donations to help me purchase a new basketball wheelchair. This is my first year of competition and I enjoy playing wheelchair basketball so much. I am currently using an old basketball wheelchair of a retired player. Before my injury, I played basketball in high school as well as in the AAU circuit with hopes of playing college ball and potentially in the NBA. Wheelchair basketball has given me an outlet not only to socialize with other disabled individuals, but also I have the opportunity to reclaim the game that I am so passionate about. Despite the detour of my future dreams, I believe that wheelchair basketball will give me direction forward regarding my new purpose in life.
