My awesome husband, Keith Reynolds passed away on July 2nd 2024. He was loving, funny, smart and worked so hard to take care of me and our kids.
He was a deeply caring man who loved to strike up a conversation and, once you became his friend, he would go to the ends of the Earth for you!
In March, he was feeling run down so we decided to take a "quick" detour to the local Quick Care to get him checked out. It turned out that he was in heart failure from a blood infection and was going into septic shock.
What followed was open heart surgery and 100 days in the ICU, battling pneumonia and kidney failure. One complication followed the next as the days passed.
Two weeks ago, he looked to be on the mend. His breathing was improving and, although we knew we had a long road of rehab ahead, we starred to think optimistically.
Unfortunately, the pneumonia returned and wiped out all of his physical resources. It was finally the one battle that he just couldn't win.
Although he had been fighting for a while, his death came as a surprise at the end and he didn't have a chance to prepare for his final expenses. I'm asking for your help to cover his burial and memorial.
