Assist The McKenzie Family In Their Financial Crisis

Our mother Kati, unfortunately, passed away very unexpectedly, and not to any fault of hers, this has left my younger sister and I in a tight financial situation. While she and I both tried to do our fair share to help with bills, our mother was the big breadwinner in our household, and with her passing, we realized we can no longer afford to stay where we are. Family has done all they can to help but unfortunately, it is not enough. This fundraiser will help us secure our home's rent for at least the next couple of months and also pay for a storage unit to keep all of our mother's belongings in until we are emotionally ready to sort through it.

Our mother was a kind and caring soul. Sassy and stubborn at times, but more often than not, she was gentle and warm. Her sense of humor and laughter was so contagious that she could turn some of your worst days into the best. She loved her family fiercely and with so much passion, almost to the point that her constant check-ins would get annoying. but you know, that's just how moms can be, and we will miss that from her every day.

Her sudden passing has turned our world upside in the worst way possible. I understand the goal set is steep, but my only hope is to make sure my sister and i have enough of a safety net to help us along with what will be the hardest transition in our lives.
