Assist Kathy with Mark's End-of-Life Bills
Donation protected
About 4 years ago, Mark noticed he was unable to maintain his balance on the golf course; within a few months, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
Over the next several years, he maintained his sharp intellect even as his imbalance and instability progressed.
Friends and family recall sweet stories and attest to his mental acuity as late as Thanksgiving 2024.
Unfortunately, in the final months of Mark's life, he suffered severely from dementia, which included hallucinations, delirium, and terminal agitation.
His physical, mental, and emotional care needs were far more than any one person could ever manage on their own, but Mark was repeatedly denied hospice or long-term assistance. Each day brought greater nightmares than the day before, and Mark and Kathy relied on ambulances, emergency rooms, specialists, and overnight hospital stays.
Finally, 3 days before Mark's death, he was accepted into hospice care where he found comfort and peace in his own home before passing away.
Mark's medical and end-of-life expenses are very high. Please help Kathy Voss clear some of these.
