Joel Sharp, beloved of Karly Layos and friend, tanguero, and teacher in Jacksonville, has passed from cancer.

Karly is trying to pull things together after this devastating loss to move back to Washington where her family is, and to scatter Joel's ashes in the place they both considered home.

Karly had to stop working to take care of Joel in his final days, and really needs our help to take him home.
