Assist Julia in Her Surgical Recovery

Dear beautiful people of New York and beyond,

I will be undergoing breast revision surgery in March. This has been a two-year ordeal that started with breast implants which I had to have removed due to serious complications.

I’ve spent the last year recovering from my explant both physically and emotionally. I’ve learned that gender-affirming surgeries don’t always go as planned and transitions aren’t always linear.

Patience is a virtue.

I'm now eligible for a breast augmentation revision with a great surgeon that I trust here in New York. It’s now or never as we enter uncertain times and the future of trans health care is at risk. This procedure will fix the asymmetry that the implants caused by transferring fat cells to my breast from other parts of my body and in doing so, will help accentuate my figure in a naturally feminine way.

Yes, I am very much looking forward to being on the other side of this surgery and hope to finally be left to live somewhat at peace in my body with the euphoria that gender-affirming procedures can provide to trans people. It’s life changing stuff.

I usually prefer to keep these matters private and am the last person who asks for help, especially financial, but I am making an exception in this case because I don’t have a choice this time.

Your support will help me pay for housing, groceries, and other living expenses while I am recovering from said procedure and unable to work or earn any income. For nearly a decade in NYC I have been supporting myself and my transition without any financial support from relatives or family. Anything helps make this a possibility for me, so I can afford to get back on my feet and continue to live here, make music, and remain a part of a community I absolutely couldn’t live without.
