As many of you know, my name is Jaylina Hill. I'm a mom of two. I'm trying to raise money for my 19 year old, firstborn son, Jr Hill. Jr has been a high honor student since kindergarten. He was accepted to a 2-year program at Dutchess Community College on a full scholarship, where he received his associate's degree. My son has recently been accepted to RIT to receive his bachelor's degree. He has been accepted with a scholarship that will cover his tuition costs; however, it will not cover the cost of his dorm stay. He will no longer be in the same state near his family. In a way, so many people have been on this journey with us as I have been posting his accomplishments since day one. Putting my pride aside, I'm asking for help raising money so that Jr can pay some of his dorm rent until he is settled in at RIT with a job and a car to get around. Any help would be greatly appreciated by us both. I'm so very proud of how far he has made it. I don't want something like this to get in the way of him continuing the education he has worked so hard for.
