Assist Jesse's Family in Their Time of Loss
Donation protected
Sadly on Saturday September 28, Jesse my son who was only 16 years old, was riding his bike home from a friend's house and was stuck by a car. He was flown to a level 1 trauma unit 2 to 3 hours away from his family since his older sisters lived in an other state. He had multiple surgeries to try and release the pressure on his brain. The first few days were unimaginably difficult on us with the ups and downs that come with brain trauma. Sadly after many test and procedures it was determined that he has suffered major stokes and lack of oxygen to his brain. On Monday Oct 14th it was decided that he has no signs of life. We have decided to give the gift of life to others and are donating his organs. Since this was very sudden, and unexpected we are asking for help to pay funeral cost, medical bills and lost time at work for family that has traveled home to say goodbye.
I just a thought want to tell everyone a little bit about Jesse. He is the only boy with 3 sisters two are older and the other is a minute younger his is a twin Emma. My oldest were only 3 Tayiah, and 4 Skye when he was born and so happy to have super babies like Dora the Explorer. He has always been all boy, he grew up loving anything outside, skateboards, BMX racing, and riding his bike everywhere. He was the one that would always make you laugh. He has the biggest heart and tried to help whenever he could, he spent a lot of time helping around the community with tis the season setting up every year for the holidays. He also was a Boy Scout and was one of few that completed Boarder to Boarder last year. A trip where they hiked, biked, and canoe from the Boarder of North Carolina/Virginia to North Carolina/South Carolina. And he had national coverage with that being featured in the scout life magazine. He accomplished so much in his short time here and reached the hearts of so many.
Jesse passed yesterday, and is off to save life's with his donation gifts. His honor walk was amazing so many were there to help support us and him. I am truly thankful for all that have helped us and supported our family. It has been a horrible few weeks since he first was injured and everyone has been amazing at the hospital and home making sure we have all we need. I God has a plan and we are trying to find peace with that. We may never understand why Jesse had to go, but we know it was his time to leave us.
