Those that know me are aware my son, Jesse Pierce, has been battling pancreatic cancer for 2 years. He is now nearing the end of life and my heart is breaking. I wish I could tell you everything that has made him a wonderful son, father, fiancé, brother, uncle, and Papa, but I would go on forever.
This battle has decimated our family. I am out of work to see this through and have no income at this time. Expenses continue to add up, and while credit cards have been helpful, I will never be able to pay them off. My boy has been receiving the best care possible here in Boston and will remain here for the duration, as will Gabby, myself, and his daughter Arianna, who is just 14. We now are faced with figuring out and paying for his cremation and return to Maine when the time comes.
People have been so generous with their love, thoughts, prayers, and contributions, and we love you all. I am not one who asks for help, having done it on my own for so many years. Any help is appreciated, as are ongoing prayers for Jesse and his family.
