Help the Gomez/Gilette Family Heal After the Loss of Their Sweet Maverick
With shattered hearts, we share the unimaginable loss of Maverick, the beloved son of Jeffrey and Makayla, and baby brother to Mason. Maverick was more than just a little boy; he was a light in every room he entered. Always smiling, always laughing, he had a contagious joy that touched everyone around him.
He especially loved dancing around to Skibidi Toilet videos, giggling endlessly, and giving out the tightest, most love-filled hugs. His laughter was the soundtrack of their home, and his spirit brought so much love and happiness to everyone who knew him.
No parent is ever prepared for the loss of a child. In the midst of overwhelming grief, Jeffrey and Makayla are doing their best to support each other and comfort Mason, who is also mourning the loss of his baby brother.
Makayla is currently out of work with no income, and the family is facing unexpected expenses including:
- Cremation and memorial services for Maverick
- Grief counseling and therapy for the whole family
- Temporary living and household costs
- Long-term emotional support and potential rehab needs to help them cope
We are asking for help not just to ease the financial burden, but to give this beautiful family the time and space they need to grieve, to heal, and to begin to find peace.
