Help Empower Jazzmyn
Have you ever been bullied, put down, insulted and the recipient of disparaging comments. It is always hard to handle...especially when you are an adolescent in this fast paced technological world where your secret is never just yours.
Painful words can hurt more than just your ears...they shoot straight to your soul. They wound your confidence, your inner spirit and sometimes your tender self esteem. These are the difficult elements of childhood that you will carry through your adult life unless there is a means to change your personal path.
In this case, there is a conventional procedure that can change one child's personal path....but not without your help.
My little friend Jazzmyn, is a highly motivated 5th grader, who is proudly in the 97th percentile of her class. In spite if her intellect, she is shy, hides from attention, covers her mouth when she speaks and avoids eye contact. What she has in common with others of her age, is a dental abnormality resulting in an extreme overbite also know as buck teeth syndrome.
Her family cannot afford the full coverage of dental care that Jazzmyn requires to change her appearance and ultimately lift her self esteem. She is a precious young lady who with support and this medical treatment will be given the tools to develop and grow in so many ways beyond her height and age.
Like all of you, with a little help... you too were able to visualize your own potential. I want this for Jazzmyn. Her teachers, friends and I would like to see Jazzmyn reach for her goals and not be afraid to speak up. What we want for her is to believe in herself and develop a strong sense of confidence.
As you can see, our goal is to raise $5500 for her medical needs. Every dollar will go directly to her dental account with an orthodontic specialist overseeing her case.
For every $75+ donation, I will send you an apron from my line, SF Bay Aprons, as a token of my appreciation.
I know you can put yourself in Jazzmyn's shoes...and can feel her pain. Please think about how much this means to her as a young girl in today's culture. Can we give her one of the best Christmas presents ever?
