Those of you that know Miranda and Jay know that it has been a long journey for both of them as they have each been battling cancer. However, despite her courageous fight, Miranda will soon lose her battle to pancreatic cancer. She has been a fierce warrior and is choosing to go on her terms: surrounded with the love and compassion of her friends and family. Miranda is not expected to live much longer; if she makes it through this weekend it will be by God’s grace. Jay has been by her side since day one, all the while fighting his own battle with cancer.

Known only to few, Jay has been forced to continue working part time, all while undergoing cancer treatments of his own and still lovingly supporting his wife through her battle. Family and friends have been very gracious and helpful when and where they can. The love that has been shown to the family through prayers, messages, phone calls, and visits truly shows how loved they are. It has been so appreciated!

With all this being said, the next couple of months are going to be financially and emotionally trying for Jay. We are attempting to raise enough funds to allow Jay the time to properly grieve the loss of his beloved wife Miranda as well as continue to heal from his own battle with cancer and not have to immediately stress about how to move on.
