Assist Janae's Family After Tragedies

Janae (my BFF since Jr. High) has lost her mother, father, and favorite cousin, Chuck, all in 6 months. Chuck was like an older brother to Janae.

The goal is to generate enough cash to cover the travel expenses for her family of 4 to travel from Iowa to California for her cousin Chuck's celebration of life on 6/21/2025 and the spread her father's ashes.

Her family could greatly use this help. Due to her children's severe allergies to cats and dogs, they will not be able to stay with her brother and his family in Boulder Creek. Their last visit required a hospitalization due to breathing issues for one of her children.

Santa Cruz County is one of the most expensive places in the United States. Not just to live but to visit too. The projected travel dates are June 18th- June 24th. As a reference point for lodging costs: Vrbo has listing's for this time frame at $2,700, Airbnb has listing's for $3,000 & there is no actual hotels in Boulder Creek. As of 5/20 the cost of flying 4 "adults" from Iowa to CA was $600 per person or $2,400 total.

She is tapped out financially due to being away from work for about a month to consolidate her mother's estate and be with family after the passing of her father. There have been other financial hardships too that I am not obliged to share at this moment.

Janae is family to me. It's on the level that my mother calls her "my other daughter." It is important that she is able to be with her biological family during this time for emotional closure.

By the universe's good graces, when the total goal is exceeded, they will be able to rent a vehicle for their visit. Thank you for your generosity, and God bless!
