Assist in Rebuilding After Fire Tragedy

This GoFundMe is to help my dad, whose house caught on fire in Jenera on March 17th. With the amount of damage from the fire and smoke, the house will be a total loss.

My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 oropharyngeal cancer in 2021. He won the fight, but the cost of chemotherapy treatments, along with not being able to work, depleted all of his savings. He made the decision to drop homeowners insurance to make ends meet. He tried to get a new policy, but the insurance company required him to make repairs to the home that were unaffordable, and he was physically unable to repair them himself, which left coverage unobtainable.

I am asking for help with expenses for necessities while we try to figure out the next steps to recover from this unexpected tragedy. While any type of donation will be accepted and greatly appreciated, I will note that he still has a PEG feeding tube. Since it is very difficult for him to eat normal food, he has to order special food to blend up to be compatible with his feeding tube. The American Red Cross has provided vouchers for clothes and a hotel temporarily, but we are asking for extra help with expenses towards demolition/cleanup and money towards a new place to get him and my brother, who also lives at the house, back on their feet and comfortable.
