My Home Was Lost to a Fire – Please Help Us Rebuild

On July 11 2025, a sudden and completely unexpected electrical fire tore through my home, destroying everything my cats and I owned. In just minutes, the life I had built was gone. We were lucky to make it out safety, but we are now left with literally nothing.

The Red Cross hasn’t provided us with immediate support and they are unable to help with housing. I’m currently working two jobs just to get by, and I had just resigned my lease, never imagining I’d be forced to move under such traumatic and sudden circumstances.

Every single item in my home was lost—clothing, furniture, memories, essentials, my cats’ belongings, everything. It’s incredibly humbling and honestly scary to ask for help, but right now, I truly don’t know where else to turn.

I set the goal to reflect the full extent of what was lost, but please know that any amount, even just $1, is deeply appreciated. Every donation helps me take one small step forward—toward stability, safety, and healing.
