Assist in Our Transition to a New Home

Deciding for make this GoFundMe has been a very difficult decision for my mom and I because I don't want to have to ask anyone for anything. However, desperate times call for certain measures. My mom and I have to move out of our house by February 15, 2025. Although, that seems like a fair amount of time to find a new house, finding a house is not the problem. It's coming up with the money for first month's rent and deposits, pet deposit, etc. We have our rent to pay on the current house for January, which we already gave. This has been a very abrupt change to our lives and we are navigating it the best way we can. I feel very strange even asking for help from my friends and family. We have loved living in this home and are very thankful to have been able to be here. My mom has lived here for 8 years. Unfortunately, circumstances have changed in the last couple weeks which is why we have to move. My mom is on a fixed income and as many of you know, I bartend. I have been saving every penny I make since we got the news, being we were given the news right before Christmas, we had already spent money on gifts and the normal things someone spends money on. At this point in this unforeseeable event, any contribution would be of great significance and appreciation. Again, we are very hesitant to create this GoFundMe because it's hard asking for help, but moving and changing lives is not an easy journey. But it's where we are at this point.
