Hello! My name is Jarod, and I am setting up this fundraiser to assist my mother, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for early stage ovarian cancer. She was diagnosed around two months ago, and has already started three rounds of chemo. My aunt, her sister, acted as her caretaker for many years, but she sadly passed away this September, leaving my mother with no one to help her 24/7. She is currently on a waitlist for an assisted living care facility to help her with all of her needs, but in the meantime, we are looking for a few donations to help with bills and daily costs. My mother has worked for many years to support myself, my aunt and cousin, and in turn we are doing what we can to give back.

UPDATE: The cancer has metastasized through my mother's lower body, and she is now undergoing physical therapy and under constant hospice care because she can no longer be on her own. I have taken a leave of unpaid absence to assist her with daily care for the time being, but this has left us both with even shorter funds.
