It is with profound sadness that I announce the unexpected passing of my beloved Dad, Raul Jr. Eguia, on Sunday, September 7th, 2025. He was a bright, unique spark in this world—a son, cousin, nephew, friend, and ever-loving Dad. He was always ready with a kind word, a joke to make you laugh, or a helping hand if you needed it. This loss has left a deep void in the lives of our family.

I am 18 years old, a senior in high school, and in charge of the task of laying my Dad to rest.Unfortunately, my mom also passed 6 years ago, so my dad was all my sisters and I had left. Two of my sisters are so little, they are still in elementary school. All four of us are leaning on each other and our family durning this difficult time.
