Assist in Honoring Leighton Alexander's Memory

As some may know, on January 5th, the unthinkable happened - my best friend and sole provider, my dad, passed away in his sleep. I've sat wondering how I am going to survive this and figure everything out without him. Some days it feels impossible, but I am grateful for a support system who gets me through those days right now.

Before his death, my father had broken both of his wrists on December 19th and had been out of work since. I had been full-time caretaking for him and not working in the weeks leading up to his death. On December 27th, my father underwent surgery for his wrists and had been extremely hopeful and diligent in his recovery. His cause of death still has not been confirmed.

This fund would help cover any fees associated with court (legal, filing, or attorney fees), fund a memorial service, and the give me ability to settle his affairs without the added stress of feeling financially unstable.

My father did not ask for much and always gave everything. Losing him is the harshest realization of how much I depend on him, but if I have learned anything in the past few weeks, it's that you have to lean on others.
