My name is Matthew Phillips. I am Berni Phillips’ only son. Today, Tuesday, November 11th, 2025, at 8:31 am, my mother took her last breath and passed away. She was diagnosed with cancer on September 24th; just that quickly, she is gone.

She did not have time to prepare.
