Assist in Giving Our Mom a Dignified Farewell

Hey everyone, my name is Tabitha. Today, my younger sister and I were given some of the most horrible news. My 51-year-old mom, who has been on life support following an accident late Sunday night, has suffered irreparable brain damage and will not live without the ventilator. My sister and I will have to make the unbearable choice to take her off life support in the next couple of days.

My mother will be leaving behind 2 daughters (myself and my sister), 3 grandchildren (1 unborn), 2 siblings, a mother, and lots of other family who are also devastated by this tragedy. Unfortunately, my mom had no life insurance, savings, or anything that can financially help with her cremation. My sister and I were not expecting this and are completely unprepared. I'm a mom of 2 with one on the way and have only been working part-time, so I have no savings to fund a cremation/service for my mother. My sister is a young adult who is just struggling to make it like everyone else these days and cannot afford anything either.

Not only am I dealing with the loss of my mom and my children's grandma, but also the stress and burden of how we are going to cremate her. This fundraiser is my only option and chance to come up with the money for her services. I'm not trying to raise much, just enough to cover costs for a cremation and small service.
