Assist in Funeral Costs for Ellen Johnson

Hello there, my name is Emily Pinkston. Maw-maw aka Mrs. Ellen Johnson passed to be with the Lord Our Savior August 21, 2025 at 4:07 pm. I have been blessed to know Maw-maw since the age of 16, and I just turned 40 in June. She has been a beacon of light since the first time I met her. She was more than just some woman! You can ask anyone that has encountered her and they will not tell you otherwise. The losing of her has left a void of emptiness that surpasses mightily. She always had a beautiful big smile on her face, with a warm embrace, and great words of encouragement, along with prayers on the spot that lifted the mountains off your shoulders and gave you strength, comfort, and peace. The heavens gained a beautiful soul!!! Inside and out.....she had the most beautiful triumphant homecoming that a person could ever want or need. She walked through those big Ole gates with new life, with a new body, the ultimate kingdom. This may a goodbye for now, but not forever! I will along with many others wrap my arms around your neck and cry of rejoicement upon my own homecoming. I know without a shadow of doubt that as she entered the kingdom, our Lord Jesus met her with open arms saying, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." Maw-maw was diagnosed with an incurable pulmonary disease earlier this year. They gave her 3-5 years life expectancy. Going back, her 1st known symptoms started in 2022. It was not until last year with the shortness of breathe continuing to increase that she investigated with a doctor to find the culprit. The news was devastating. She was so humble that she never really announced it. She didn't want anyone to make a fuss over her. Y'all this woman....she was so selfless in all matters and kept the joy of God throughout it all. I'm coming on here and making this page to help in the costs of her funeral arrangements to lay her body to rest. We come in with nothing and go out with nothing. Although, how we live our lives and the ppl we are speaks volume, and Mrs. Ellen left with nothing physically but everything spiritually, and that my dear friend is the entire purpose. She is loved by soooooo many! The funds gained will not only help with the funeral, but will help to keep Paw-paw afloat. Maw-maw has been his everything for 44 years. He has been disabled pretty much since they first were married. She did everything for him. He is navigating unknown territory and if you are able to donate it would be a huge blessing and if you are unable to donate, please lift him, his loved ones, family, and friends in prayer,,,it would be greatly appreciated!!
