I am Francis Matias' oldest son. I found out tonight my mother was hit and killed by a drunk driver at 1:45 am on 04/26/2025. Me and my wife live in Arizona and are trying to make arrangements for my mother. We are asking for anyone, people in the community, friends, and family to help assist our family in making sure her wishes are carried out. My mother was a loving, caring woman who would give a stranger her own shoes off her feet to help someone! She loved everyone and enjoyed painting, spending time with family and friends. My mother was one with the earth and a free bird at heart! Anything that can help our family, my younger brother William Matias “Rowdy” & younger sister Makeyen Demaria Gassoumis and myself, Scott Schultz would greatly be appreciated. The Service date is subject to change due to the situation and currently she is going through an autopsy. My wife assisted in the organization of the gofundme.
