After beating nearly-terminal bone cancer as a teen and advanced uterine cancer in 2022 I am experiencing multiple recurrences in my brain and my lungs. Add to that multiple serious surgeries to repair a broken femur that refuses to heal and I am overwhelmed.

I am asking for assistance so that I may pay off my credit card I have been using to live off ($2,500), as well as paying for home health aids ($500) while I heal from my second femur surgery in just 3 months. The recovery is especially difficult due to my housing situation and all the stairs I have to climb to get to my bedroom and bathroom. A care worker could help me make sure I am safe in my own home.

I live alone and am fully responsible for my every aspect of my care all by myself. My SSDI pays $1200 a month which is too little to cover all my needs even with support from my loving father. Worse still, I am unable to work or earn income because of how energy and time consuming it is just to keep up with all of my doctors appointments and medical treatments.

I am making this fundraiser now because I am feeling crushed by the cost of getting by and fearful of what comes next with looming cuts to my food stamps and possibly my healthcare as well. Reaching my goal would mean a fresh start for me to try once more to reach financial stability.
