Hi I am Lynn and I am raising funds for my nephew's funeral expenses.

Shawn Dawson Patrick, 22, formerly of Mt Sterling, died on May 9.  He was born in Montgomery County on May 24, 2001, to Shawn Patrick and Rhonda Vivian Patrick. Dawson loved dogs and fast cars and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.  His mother loved him more than all the stars in the sky.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, Kayleigh Patrick, maternal grandmother, Sharon Vivian, paternal grandparents, Jerry and Nicci Patrick, and long-time girlfriend Hannah Burden. He was also survived by his constant companion, a Yorkipoo named Zeke,   He was preceded in death by his father and maternal grandfather, Tommy Vivian.

Dawson is buried in the Vivian family cemetery on Hog Creek.  A memorial service will take place on Saturday, May 25 at 3.p.m. at the Macedonia Baptist Church (5057 Levee Rd, Mt Sterling, KY 40353) where family and friends can share memories of Dawson.

Dawson was homeless at the time of his death and had no life insurance.  Please consider donating to cover his funeral expenses instead of sending flowers. Any leftover funds will go to his sister to pay for the care for his dog.
