Dear friends and community,

I’m one of Hilliary’s many friends who has been blessed to witness her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for those in need. Now, she needs our help.

On Saturday, March 1st, 2025, Hilliary was in a devastating car accident that left her vehicle totaled and her body badly injured. This is the kind of setback no one should have to face alone. If you follow her journey, you know how incredibly hard she has been working to continue to improve her life after the pandemic, personal tragedies, and the disaster left by Helene. She has shown so much resilience, but this accident has placed another heavy burden on her shoulders.

Today, after a follow-up appointment, she was diagnosed with a brain injury and has been ordered to stay on complete bed rest for possibly, another two weeks. She is already losing income, and while her new job is keeping her employed, there is no PTO to help cover this time off. Like so many of us, she has minimal health care coverage, and her car insurance will not be reimbursing her for medical or vehicle expenses.

Hilliary’s livelihood depends on her ability to move freely her work as an entertainer isn’t just a job, it’s her passion and her gift to the world. Without a car, she can’t get to gigs, and without gigs, she can’t support herself.
