Assist Grandfather with Hearing Aids and Legal Fees

My 76-year-old grandfather was recently in a hit-and-run, plus an assault. We are asking for help to cover the cost of his hearing aids that were broken in the assault, the cost of a lawyer, court costs, and the insurance deductible for the car. During the hit-and-run, they hit him from behind as he was stopped at a light. He got out to make sure they were OK and to get any information on them so he could report it to the police. They agreed to give him their driver's license. As he was going to the gas station to get a piece of paper and a pencil to write the information down, both of them followed him and tried to grab their driver's license from him. It was then that they assaulted him multiple times, and in the process, they broke his hearing aids that he needs for everyday life. My grandfather can't possibly afford this on his own, so we are asking you as a community if you could help us in any way. Every little bit helps. We greatly appreciate any of you who have donated.
