We shared Budd's journey of fighting through his medical conditions. Budd no longer has to fight and passed away surrounded by love and comfort. Over the past week Budd was able to spend time with family and friends in his final days.

We are incredibly grateful for the hospice facility and team.

We are overwhelmed by the love, many messages and support we’ve already received.

Though hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing Budd's pain has ended, and he is now at peace.

We believe with Budd's confession and acknowledging that Jesus Chrsit was his Savior that he has recieved the gift of eternal life in Heaven with our Lord and Savior.

George "Budd" Smith is facing a tough battle medically with his life against serious health complications. He has had health issues for several years. Since November 2024, his health has been declining. Today, he is coping with an inoperable clot in his portal vein to his liver. With other medical issues, this has caused an ongoing decrease in his health. Budd has been placed on end of life/comfort care. Budd does not have life insurance. He had a term life insurance policy that ran out, and due to his mounting health issues, he was denied new insurance, and if approved, he could not pay the high premiums.

The family is reaching out to help cover medical bills, funeral cost and some basic living expenses for his wife, Laura. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. Alongside any donations, we are asking for prayers for the family. Thank you for the donations and prayers.
