Update: June 14. Gene is Back in the hospital with complications including blood clots in his legs. He is where he needs to be and in the best hands.

Gene spent 50 years as a painter in Rochester, MN. He is well known in the community and spent a lot of time volunteering at local animal shelters. Gene was able to retire and move in with his daughter in Arizona a few years ago. However, a medical emergency this last year has taken him back to Minnesota for life saving surgery. Gene has done well with his surgery. When Gene gets released from the hospital, he will need assistance with yardwork, house cleaning, getting groceries (he can’t pick up items more than 5 lbs), etc. He would also love company from time to time.

Gene has racked up some medical bills in both Arizona and now Minnesota.
