As many of you know, I recently had my mother cremated. We were originally told that everything for her final arrangements had already been paid for by my stepfather and her. I believed this meant we could place her to rest beside him without any further expense.

Unfortunately, I’ve now been informed by the cemetery that it will cost $10,000 to place her in the ground next to my stepfather—something I was never told before. This has been a heartbreaking surprise during an already difficult time.

It’s important to me, and to our family, that my mother be laid to rest beside the man she loved. We don’t have the funds to cover this cost, so we are reaching out to ask for help. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will bring us one step closer to giving her the peace and dignity she deserves.
