I hate to have to be writing this. My Aunt Sharon unexpectedly got rushed to the hospital Monday morning. While running tests to find out what was going on, she went into cardiac arrest and they were able to resuscitate her successfully. However, she did not wake up. Tests showed she had pneumonia and she didn't know that turned sepsis. They put her on a ventilator, sedated her and tried cooling therapy. They were hoping once the cooling therapy was finished that she would wake up. It's been almost 72 hours and she has no brain activity since the process. Unfortunately her kids have had to make the terrible unexpected end of life decision at this point. It was so unexpected that her family has been at the hospital all week long and have to make all the end of life arrangements. So I am here to ask for all thoughts, prayers and any donations that are able to help with this. My Aunt Sharon had the biggest heart and was so creative. At the end of the day this is the last thing I want to have to write. Anything will help to get through this time.
