I am reaching out to you during an incredibly devastating time for our family. My mother was taken from us far too soon in a tragic event that has left a hole in our lives. She was murdered by her own son, a heartbreaking reality that my sister (a minor), who lived with our mother, had to face on her own when she discovered this unimaginable situation. My mother was a loving person who cared deeply about her children. In this very tough situation, she struggled to find the strength to leave her son on the streets, even though he resisted the help he so desperately needed.
