Support Erika & Michael After Health Setbacks

Hi! My name is Erika, and I am in a big pickle at the moment. I have been dealing with family and house issues since the death of my father from head and neck cancer, and my husband has just returned to work after a period of health issues, for which he was recently hospitalized for several weeks. We are on county assistance, but someone mistakenly cut off our EBT at the end of October, and while they are working "in the order received" to reinstate the funds, it's not good timing. They did reinstate the funds after a few months, but we incurred credit card and loan debt as a result, in addition to having to find safe housing after my mother got the local police involved in frivolous and illegal matters of her own creation.  I am getting back on my feet as a musician and am performing occasional gigs in town but am looking to start teaching again and performing more with voice and piano. I have also directed church choirs in Annapolis and Baltimore and sung regularly at a church north of Baltimore. We have taken out a small loan but can't apply for any more at the time. I'm applying for all sorts of positions, and my husband receives his first paycheck this week.

Till then, we barely have 2 cents to rub together. Especially during this season of renewal and rebirth, could you find it in your hearts to spare a few dollars to help us avoid catastrophe? We will make it through, with a little help from our friends!
