Assist Doug Bowen with Medical and Housing Needs

Hi, my name is Amy Martinez. I have created this GoFundMe page to support my cousin, Doug Bowen. Doug was violently attacked and stabbed multiple times on Friday, 10/11/24, by his longtime roommate. Thankfully, he is beginning the healing process but will be unable to work for a few weeks. The attacker is scheduled to be released from jail, leaving Doug in an emergent housing situation, compounded with medical expenses, lost wages at work, and emotional distress. Doug is a beloved Junior All American football coach in the city of Chino Hills. He has dedicated a large part of his life to molding and shaping the younger generation. The players and football are what bring him a sense of purpose. Any money raised will go towards securing housing, paying off medical expenses, and keeping him afloat while he is unable to work.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Like many of us, it is hard to ask for a helping hand, but sometimes in life, we get major blows that knock us down and need help getting back up.
