My close friend and special education colleague, Deidre Ackerson, lost her husband, Cory Ackerson, in a tragic accident on April 24, 2025.

He leaves behind a loving wife, family, and two young children. Cory leaves a legacy of a hardworking man, caring father, and supportive partner.

As Deidre and her children navigate a new beginning, we ask that you would help support them financially. Assistance will be needed for funeral arrangements, medical bills, monthly bills, insurance, and child care.
