Hello my name is Deborah Alexander. My mother, Vannie, was a loving woman, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a delicate flower who was healthy all of her life. Momma was hospitalized with what I thought would've been mild dehydration on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. Just days later, Friday, July 18, 2025, we received a shocking diagnosis of B Cell Lymphoma. She had no symptoms, and blood work from an earlier doctor appointment 3 weeks ago did not show any signs of cancer or other illness. The doctors told me to call our family. Momma only had days to live. Within days she lost the ability to walk and feed herself.
Early Monday morning, July 21, 2025, Momma traded this life on earth for one of eternal rest. We are simply devastated. Momma's passing has hurt us to our very core. Our Matriarch is gone and all we could do was stand there and watch.
Any donation, no matter how small, would be appreciated. Our mother did so many great things for so many people over the years. It is our hope and prayer to provide a funeral service for which she deserves. The insurance Mom has just isn't enough for today's costs.
