My name is Brandi. It’s with the heaviest heart and more pain than imaginable that I have to write this. A man that was loved by so many people in the deepest of ways lost his life on October 18. He left behind 6 amazing children and family that loved him so unconditionally.
Daniel was a man of many talents, He had phenomenal woodworking skills, a gifted writer, the most tech savoy person I’ve ever known but most of all, the most amazing father and friend. He knew since he was a child that he wanted to join the Marine Corps and that’s exactly what he did. Fresh out of high school, Daniel joined the Marine Corps, served 2 deployments and 4 years. Daniel and I were high school sweethearts. We had 3 beautiful boys together. I was blessed to spend my time with Daniel through high school and his 4 years in the Marine corps. Unfortunately our time together was over and it was his time to move forward. He continued his life and married an amazing person,Katherine . They also had 3 more beautiful boys together. Kat was blessed to have spent the next 10 years knowing the man he evolved into. The wickedly smart, hardworking, gentle, funny, amazing father he was. Daniel always said his greatest contribution to life were his children and anyone who knows him knows how much his boys meant to him.
we are reaching out as a family to ask for help in this time of grieving. Daniel’s father has been so kind as to pay for the cremation but unfortunately there are a lot of other costs involved and with time taken off work that’s out a large strain on his family. Because Aidan is Daniels oldest son and next of kin, he has the unfortunate responsibility of taking care of all of the arrangements and legal stuff. There is a large support for him but with work missed, and bills due, we simply ask, if you’re able, any little bit will help. This will go towards any cost associated with Daniels passing, help with bills for the month, and anything the 6 boys may need .
