On February 8th, my mom, Dana Davidson, suffered a devastating fall, shattering her upper arm and shoulder. She underwent extensive surgery to remove the shattered bone, cut off the top of her humerus, and replace her upper arm and shoulder with titanium.

As she faces a long and painful recovery, she will be out of work for several weeks. Her paid time off is running out, and while she has health insurance, the out-of-pocket expenses are quickly adding up. Once she begins physical therapy, she will have multiple copays each week, adding to the financial strain.
