We need help to support our father, Gregory Ray with his diagnosis of Pulmonary Fibrosis, Emphasemia, COPD, etc.
He was forced to stop working this year at age 70 and this was unexpected. He is losing his truck due to not having the income to pay for the payment. He sold his $17,000 tractor to a friend for $1500 because he was desparate, This was horrible for us to find out as we could have sold it for much more to provide more help to him. He sold two trucks and the young man failed to pay him in full ($200) so he was ripped off (they came back to get truck when he was gone).
He is unable to do much, they just put him on Oxygen, however this is not going well. He has 2 inhailers, 2 nebulizer meds, and two pills that he has to take monthly.
Treligy has a $47 copay per month (in the beginning I paid $750 per month)
Rescue Inhailer- I think is no Cost with his insurance - might be a few dollars.
Nebulizer meds are covered by his medicare plan
Stomach Pill for acid reflux
New pill (OFEV) that costs $2000 per month - This we are working to see if we can get deals.
I travel from Oakland Maine to Auburn Maine to take care of him and bring him to appointments. This is costly in gas/tolls and time off from work.
Any help is greatly appreciated more than you will know.
Gregory is a prideful man and would help anyone with anything. This really has been a hard change for him.
