Assist Chris's Family in Their Time of Need
Donation protected
Hey everyone!
As most of you know, Chris has been dealing with hip issues for the last several years ever since he got injured by hyper-extending his hip when he was stepping off of the back of a trash truck when he worked for the City of Lawrence. As time went on and continues to go on, his hips keep getting worse and worse. He has already had 2 hip surgeries and has been to several different doctors and specialists. After attending a lot of doctors appointments with specialists and his regular doctor, the most recent specialist diagnosed him with Avascular Necrosis.
Avascular Necrosis is a disease that results from temporary or permanent loss of blood supply to the bone. When the blood supply is cut off, the bone tissue dies and the bone collapses. If avascular necrosis happens near a joint, the joint surface may collapse. Which in Chris' case, is pretty close to happening.
We are in the works of getting him a double hip replacement because as of right now, that is the only thing that is going to fix the problem and relieve him of all the pain he has been experiencing.
His doctors do not want him working right now or even walking until he is able to get the surgery that he needs. He is having a hard time getting around right now, so starting Monday, his doctors want him in a wheelchair to get around.
With me being the sole provider for our family of 9, our funds are super tight and we are currently struggling with trying to keep up with our bills and trying to feed 7 kids this Summer.
I am currently working all day from 6:00 am-2:00 pm and then I door dash after that until 10:00 pm. and even with me working so much we are still struggling to keep our bills paid.
If anyone is able to help, it would be greatly appreciated and would help us out so much. All funds will be used for our bills, groceries and gas for our car.
If you're not able to donate, any and all prayers are greatly accepted and appreciated as well.
Thank you for taking the time to read, donate and for sending prayers our way.
