Due to an accident on December 17th, my partner, Chris Suttle was injured. We are asking for assistance with bills and groceries while he recovers from multiple injuries including a concussion, broken dominant arm, injured dominant leg, and mental trauma that prevents him from working and performing household tasks. Recovery is targeted to be over 6 months if surgery is not required and the ability to drive and work will be severely limited in that time.

Update as of March 28th

We have made it close to halfway, but the medical bills are expanding. Chris has been diagnosed with severe PTSD, Anxiety, and Depression from the trauma of the accident, and we have enrolled him in a PHP/IOP program in Chapel Hill for 20 weeks total. He is there everyday from 9-3 pm, and attending physical therapy twice a week which prevents him from working.

Surgery on his shoulder has been scheduled for April 29th and the most recent MRI results show damage to not just the shoulder but the rotator cuff and other surrounding muscles requiring a full rebuild. Due to the loss of mobility the surgery will cause, this will mean retirement for him as a circus performer, stage combat choreographer, and as a fire performer.

The settlement is still months away from being finalized so any help to cover medical bills, housing, groceries, and prescription refill costs is greatly appreciated!
