Assist Chris During This Tragic Time
Donation protected
The sudden and tragic passing of his beloved sister Cristin, has left her brother Chris’ heart heavy with the loss of a dear sibling, and he now must fly to both Florida and Denver to collect his sister’s ashes and to distribute them with his mother to honor her memory. These things come at great weight, as the difficulties of surviving in an expensive economic area like Seattle looms behind it all. This tragedy is one that has taken a huge toll on our dearest Chris, a person known for their work in the Seattle electronic music and one that holds so much space in his heart for the Wave and 140 communities. The creator of our local crew Human Error Collective, he is a man who does everything he does for our local scene from his heart, and from a place of love and dedication to his craft.
In lieu of this tragic event, we’re asking that you donate to help him keep his apartment, and to cover flights to Florida to see his family, as well as to Denver to pick up his sister’s ashes. Even a little bit helps, and if there’s one thing about this community that makes it so strong, it’s the way we are here for and support others within it.
Being a promoter is Seattle’s social climate is no easy task, and being a patron of the arts and advocating for emergent sounds and for struggling artists can be such a toll financially, mentally, and physically for the few can stick to or uphold it for very long. The history of Human Error collective has been a story of perseverance, and a crew that are dedicated to seeing it through, despite facing anny obstacles in their path. And its leading founder is now struggling due to unexpected tragedy in their family life. Please donate if you’re able to, and even sharing this if you’re not will make a huge difference.
