It is with great sadness I share that Chris Burman my husband of 15 yrs unexpectedly passed away this past Monday on the 17th, he just didn't wake up. He was only 58.

I lost my Mom 2 months ago aswell so this this has been an extremely difficult and challenging time.

Chris was also known as just "Burman" or "Reed" (you know who you are :) some would reference the infamous "Chris Berman" from ESPN which he watched religiously from the first air date and all through the years. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and his all time true love was Baseball from playing & pitching (he was an avid proud lefty) to coaching.

The Phillies were his fav.

Many knew him from coaching HS Baseball, Little League and Football.

Chris was the main provider between us at home. And like most we lived paycheck to paycheck. With his passing I now have to take care of all things on my own. Needless to say I feel very overwhelmed, worried, unsure, scared and ofcourse extremely sad. I miss him so very much. He took care of everything.

So now comes the daunting task of alot to go through. Not to mention figure out finances (and ofcourse I don't qualify for survivor benefits until I'm 60 - which is a ways out).

I didn't think I'd be a widow in my mid 50s. As no one does.

Our home is way to much for just me & our 2 lil dogs (too much space & upkeep/maintenance) so that means I will need to move. Ugh. We've rented were we are for the past 10+ years (and have absolutely loved it). So I'm sure you can imagine.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation. Your donation will help cover expenses and some future needs (moving, bills etc.) and ofcourse any unexpectansies that may arise along way if needed while I process all of this.
