****UPDATE post funeral home visit and what their cost for this is going to be ****

9/12/25 - We are getting so close to having the funds the funeral home presented us Monday for John’s cremation. (Just under $2100.00)

I had no idea the exact cost and guesstimated 1600. I was wrong.

After the loss of Phyllis in March and the cost of her cremation along and the general costs of just living ie rent and utilities etc. the funds for his cremation just are not available.

BUT because of all you amazing souls have generously donated for his final wishes. We are close to being able to have the funeral home move forward with his cremation.

There have been a few donations sent via other fund transfers ie zelle cashapp (have added to the donations page they appear as “offline”) as I believe that full transparency for each cent received needs to shown/accounted for. As all yall absolutely should be able to see what has been been received for this and what is still needed for them to move forward with cremation and not have Carla carry any more burden than she already has and still is.

Having to pack up personal belongings for both Johnny and Phyllis from their home, having to utilize a storage unit to house them until such time as Carla can catch her breath and then make decisions for those as well. We would love to release the burden of this cost for her altogether, so please if you can find it in your heart and are able to donate, even $5 it absolutely adds up and will help.

If you prefer to not use GFM (some folks just do not like it and I get it) BUT we also have options outside of GFM for donations towards this. You can message myself or Garry and we can provide the info to you.
